Recovery Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for helping consumers understand, navigate, and grow through the OTC program.  The Recovery Support Specialist will maintain a caseload of ongoing clients for which they provide services using the Recovery Support Coordination model of case management.  Recovery Support Coordination is a strength-based case management model that provides the framework for an individualized plan of care to be developed for each participant. The purpose of Recovery Support Coordination is to assist clients to establish their own path to recovery and ensure the client’s well-being beyond the provision of formal services. It is the expectation of JusticePoint that Recovery Support Specialists will promptly undertake care coordination responsibilities so that the client’s recovery needs will be met in a timely manner. The RSS will coordinate service planning and delivery, as well as help the client to access services.

The RSC/CM will coordinate service planning and delivery, as well as help the client to access services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for helping the consumers to understand, navigate, and grow through the CCS program.  This Care Coordinator meets and works with the consumers, service providers, and other team supports that assist in the consumer’s progression through the CCS program.  The Care Coordinator receives consultation from mental health and/or substance abuse professionals while working on the clients individualized recovery plan.

Cognitive Behavioral Program Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

Facilitation of the “T4C, “CBI-SA”, and “Seeking Safety programs to groups of individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System. 

Working with individual participants as time permits to provide supplemental information and/or coaching in techniques learned in group sessions. 

Individuals considered for this position will be required to become trained in curriculums including but not limited to Thinking for a Change (T4C), Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBI-SA), and Seeking Safety. Groups will consist of 8-16 individuals and fidelity to the models must be ensured.
